I could not believe the difference from something so small and easy to fit yourself. I used to call my Landcruiser "my mud plugger" and despite having a 4.2L engine, overtaking was something that needed to be planned well in advance. Well not any more the thing now takes off when the loud pedal is pressed, it has more torque and I'm told will be better on fuel. Now thinking of buying one for the wifes Freelander!

The improved power response from 2000rpm quite noticeable and a great improvement with overtaking or when going up and down hills. Today I upped the setting to max and the surge between 2500rpm all the way past 4000rpm is fantastic! I have the standard Toyota catalytic convertor but after that the exhaust is now 3 inches in diameter with no muffler and that's it.

With a heavy trailer I got 19.8mpg via the onboard computer - that's improved from 15mpg before. I'm looking forward to verifying this with full tank to empty to double check, but power increase on standard setting is impressive, torque is very much improved!
